Hand Crafted Quilt Raffle to Benefit Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation  This 86” x 86” (7’ square) bed quilt/wall hanging was lovingly put together by members of GWTA-WA, Chapter C (The Evergreen Wings out of Everett, WA) in the spring and summer of 2010. It has a sleeve running along the top for a rod, so it can be used as a wall hanging; it would also brighten up a full or queen sized bed. It is composed of 12 design blocks from official RIDE FOR KIDS (RFK) tee shirts, dating from l998 through 2010, with an additional embroidered dedication block. All of the RFK tee shirts were donated to Chapter C by various RFK volunteers and officials, with the understanding that the finished project would be raffled off September 4, 2010, at Chapter C’s General Meeting, and that all proceeds from the raffle would go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). Annual Event: Our Chapter C Event is the Blue Crew Fun Run When: May Fun, friendship, some great riding country, and prizes await you at GWTA Chapter C's 'Blue Crew Fun Run'.
